So story goes my car got egged on Friday night. I won't say where but this pretty much involves all the cars parked on the road in the south west area of Barrie. After getting the license plate from the vehicle as he sped away I called the police. They told me there was nothing they could do since I had already washed the car immediately after they hit it with the egg's I decided to do some of my own detective work.
I put the word out to anyone that I could think of. After talking with a few people they told me that the car is always spotted around the Marsellus Dr and Mapleton Ave area. So I decided to go take a look sure enough no car. Then my phone rang. One of my buddies called and said he spotted the car at Macdonalds on highway 400. I started to head over there and he followed the car relaying the info to where they were going.
I got off the highway at Essa and the 400hwy and proceeded to tail them. Myself and friend witnessed them driving through the south west area of Barrie egging over 40 cars completely oblivious to us following them. We watched them pull into a house located at 241 Mapleton Ave in the south west area of Barrie.
We decided that since we were over the age of 18 and no longer can be protected under the young offenders act we should allow the police to handle it. I called them again and they sent an officer. The officer came and spoke to myself and confirmed the license plate was registered to that residence and the officer proceeded to the house. After watching the officer stand at the door for awhile to no answer he came back and said he could not enter the residence. He would have to see if anyone reported damage over the next few days. So here is the action I am taking.
